Working with Glass

CFPR resident artists Chuck Elliott, Alicia Paz and Lucrecia Urbano have been working with glass artist Angela Thwaites over the course of their residencies, to develop new works in glass. The artists have used facilities at the Centre for Print Research such as 3D scanning (to develop sculptures for casting in glass); glass grinding, cutting and polishing equipment; and the kilns, with expert guidance from Angela and CFPR research staff. We can’t wait to see the final outcomes!
